Should we believe? Do we believe? The answer is simple but complex.
Faith. Just what is it? How do we develop it?
I will ‘age’ myself! Back in the ‘day’, we used to “develop” photos. Just what does that mean? Photographic processing or photographic development is the chemical means by which photographic film or paper is treated after photographic exposure to produce a negative or positive image.
In this day of “digital photos” this process has seen its time. But, the concept is used here in referring to the ‘growth’ of faith. Remember this!
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
It is described as the evidence of things not seen.
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through The Word about Christ.
It is said so simply. Things will happen and occur, but most importantly, there is the belief in what is promised by God – Who is not Man!
What we cannot see or more clearly stated; “what we are yet to see” IS, Amen.
Sisters and brethren, let us stand today in faith knowing that what we truly believe in and have asked for is there and in The will of God is coming.
