Dreams are to be prayed on with gratitude for deliverance, direction and The will of God.

Our dreams are only one way in which the Lord speaks to us directly as believers. The primary way He speaks is through His Word.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares The Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

But seek first The Creator’s Kingdom and The righteousness demonstrated to us by Jesus – The Word made flesh – righteousness, and then all these things will be given to you as well. Commit to The Lord whatever you do, and God will establish your plans.

History is the ‘dreams’ of Joseph: Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. “We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it.” His brothers said to him, “Do you intend to reign over us?

Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph’s brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth. Gen.42:6.
Beloved, I pray for you. May God lift you up and place you in a position of power and honour that all who have oppressed you will come bowing and prostrating before you in Jesus’ Name. Shalom

All in all there are about a dozen dreams in the Hebrew Scriptures, the Old Testament (of the dreams in the New Testament, five, in Matthew, pertain to divine guidance of the Holy Family; in Acts 2:17, Peter quotes Joel 3:1, and in Matt. 27:19, Pilate’s wife shares with her husband a frightening dream and tells him to spare Jesus). However, what exactly constitutes a dream may be hard to tell. The distinction between dream and vision is not always apparent.

Besides Jacob’s well-known dream of the ladder, we find the main elaboration on dreams in the book of Daniel, with Nebuchadnezzar’s two dreams, and particularly in Genesis, with Joseph’s dreams and interpretations.

The attitude towards dreams in the Bible is ambiguous. While Daniel and Joseph are celebrated dream interpreters, in other instances warnings are voiced against the deceit and falsehood of dreams.

Which is why we must seek first The Kingdom of God and bring all things to The feet of The Word.

Commit your ways unto The LORD and they will be established.

But God is actually the one who gives us our dreams. He wants good things for us. And our dreams—when authentic and based on a relationship with Him—actually point to the fulfillment of our vocation. The desires of our hearts are often there on purpose.

And we pray:

Father LORD, I bring every thought, feeling and desire before Your Essence. ALL things have been placed under The feet of Jesus. Your Essence Created me with a plan; in The name of Jesus, I claim Your plan and decree that it will be established. ALL glory for my path, LORD, I walk it as directed, Amen. Be with me, in me, through me. Surround me with Your grace till I spill over in the spirit; sharing Your Essence with those around me I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
