I have been filled with The Spirit, shine LORD shine, Amen.

God fulfilled the promise He made in Ezekiel, through the coming, death, and resurrection of His Son – Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is a representation of God’s Love and all of Mankind witnessed it when He was here on Earth. Now we are to believe in this and follow the example Christ set for us.

Although born in Bethlehem, according to Matthew and Luke, Jesus was a Galilean from Nazareth, a village near Sepphoris, one of the two major cities of Galilee (Tiberias was the other). He was born to Joseph and Mary sometime between 6 bce and shortly before the death of Herod the Great (Matthew 2; Luke 1:5) in 4 bce.

Through His teachings, and by setting an example of selfless Love, Jesus guides people to live less sinful lives. Through His sacrifice of dying on the cross, Jesus atoned for the sins of human beings.

Blessed be The name of The Lord.” Satan returns to God and complains that as long as Job remains physically unharmed the test is not valid: “But put forth Thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse Thee to Thy face.” God gives Satan permission, and soon Job is covered with boils from head to toe.

This was a challenge eons before the days of Jesus. Love shields us from temptation. Jesus said to His disciples, “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My Love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His Love” (John 15:10). This is not slavish obedience to a legal code. Instead, this obedience springs from trust and confidence.

And we pray:

Dear God, I thank You for The Love that is so evident in Your Son – Jesus Christ. I see You when I see Him. Father, I pray that as I also live my life, people will also be able to draw a connection between Your Essence in me – Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
