You ARE blessed. All your requests wait on The LORD. Remember a thousand years are like a day in the sight of The Lord.
Abraham was promised a son. In his younger years, he did not have children, he was married to Sarai.
God Promises to Give Abraham a Son
And God said to Abraham, As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. And I will bless her, and give you a son also of her: yes, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her. Then Abraham fell on his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born to him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? Genesis 17:15–17.
Abraham in his 100’s had even more children.

Right quick: Abraham. God’s promise; he wanted to ‘help’ God – Ishmael: a result of his ‘help.’ Today, look at world affairs.
I have been moved recently to read up on God’s promises NOT a SINGLE one has failed to be made manifest. The people of Isreal cried out in thirst (TWICE) and look what was done: You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.” So Moses took the staff from the LORD’s presence, just as he commanded him. … Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank. https://youtu.be/bCo9CRiDA6E
Yes, Moses had a temper! The guard that was murdered. His character: https://www.sparknotes.com/lit/oldtestament/character/moses/
But in all the world, God chose HIM. Perhaps that was exactly the what was needed. His passion was what God used. Yet his passion caused him not to step a living foot in the promised land.
