Wow! Word!

Recall this: “Father “Your will be done.” Taught to us by Jesus – The Word of God!

Thanks in tribulation? Remember this: By God’s grace ALL things work together for good in the lives of those who Love God, Amen.

This follows: “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that The Lord has promised to those who Love Him.

When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

Giving thanks in every circumstance and rejoicing in The Lord always is vastly different than thanking God for everything.

Yet in the midst of those bad events it can be difficult to feel that gratitude. We need the community: family, friends, church. We sustain each other when gratitude becomes hard to express. We manifest the Love of God to each other.

The Bible calls us to allow our convictions, not our circumstances, to govern our sense of contentment. True, biblical contentment is a conviction that Christ’s power, purpose and provision is sufficient for every circumstance. We are to learn how to walk through all kinds of adversity believing in and experiencing Christ’s sufficiency. We have to choose to rest on God’s good promises despite what may be going on in our lives.
