That was answered from the beginning – before there were the advances of ‘modern day.’ The seen and unseen. The Universe as VAST as it is, is the seen! What is the unseen?

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by The Word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:3

For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? Romans 8:24
