Honoring God is not something we do as Christians out of a sense of duty or to gain His favor. Rather, it is a daily expression of recognition, respect, and gratitude towards The One Who Loved us when we were sinners and were led astray by wants/lust/desires of the flesh…
The faith journey that we undertake as new creations in Christ is one that leads us into a greater experience of God’s love, a deeper insight into His character, and further revelation of His blessings and miracles, all of which become increasingly evident the longer we walk with Him.
With all that being considered, is it not only right then that we honor the One who took us out of the darkness of despair, saved us from eternal damnation, and gave us new hope through the light of His forgiving mercy and grace?
Keep an attitude of faith, and you won’t have to fight. God will move the wrong people out of the way, He’ll open a door that you couldn’t open; He’ll turn that situation in your health around. Outlast the sickness, outlast the injustice, outlast the trouble at work, outlast the loneliness. You have to tap into that staying power. The Scripture says, “He who endures to the end will receive the prize.”
Don’t give up along the way; don’t get discouraged because this is taking longer than you thought. Your time is coming.
