As God’s representative on the Earth, He has given us the authority to speak for Him. When we speak under the leading of The Holy Spirit, we speak as His voice on the Earth. During strategic times, The Lord will prompt us to pray prayers that will bring breakthrough.
A farmer works all summer, and it’s hot. In harvest time, he is bringing in his food from the field, but sometimes it’s still hot. Hopefully though, it’s cooling down, and maybe it will even snow. This is a relief to a farmer after a long summer. They’re whole body relaxes. Similarly, a messenger who is faithful to deliver a master’s message well is a relief and refreshment to him. We believers of Jesus are all messengers of the gospel. Be like the faithful messenger, and relay the gospel well.
And we pray:
Dear Lord, I pray that I would use the authority You have given me to become Your mouthpiece on Earth. Help me to pray breakthrough prayers under the leading of Your Spirit. I thank You that positive confession brings breakthrough. I want to hear Your powerful voice above all the ungodly voices in the world. Ground me in Your Word so that Your power can flow freely through my life like rivers of living water (John 7:38). Empower me to be and declare Your will. Teach me to pray with expectant faith with boldness and confidence (Hebrews 13:6). I choose to hold firmly to the faith I profess (Hebrews 4:14). Like Abraham, I will trust in You and not my own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).
Lord, teach me the power of declarative prayer. I thank You that heaven responds to my prayers. You act on my behalf and change things in the spirit realm. I choose to confess Your truth with my mouth (Romans 10:10). I thank You that positive confession in my prayers, words, and actions brings breakthrough Teach me to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant as Jeremiah did (Jeremiah 1:9-10). Touch my lips and put Your words in my mouth. I want to say and pray positive words that confess Your truth. Help me to stand in the gap and bring healing to the earth through my prayers. I want to be a repairer of broken walls and a restorer of streets with dwellings (Isaiah 58:12). I want to be Your voice for hope and life. Your voice is powerful and accomplishes great things.
‘The voice of The Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the mighty waters. The voice of The Lord is powerful; the voice of The Lord is majestic. The voice of The Lord breaks the cedars; The Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon. He makes Lebanon skip like a calf, Sirion like a young wild ox. The voice of The Lord strikes with flashes of lightning. The voice of The Lord shakes the desert; The Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh. The voice of The Lord twists the oaks and strips the forests bare. And in His temple all cry, Glory!’ In Jesus name, Amen.
