As we Love, we confirm that we are Known by God, as 1 Corinthians 8:3 states: “To be Known by God is to be chosen by God.”
God chooses us out of His own great Love (see Ephesians 1:4,5). It is only through God’s Love do we truly understand what it means to be Known by Him, for God is Love.
This Christian life is all about putting our trust in God. To delight in God means to put our trust in Him and to keep Him as the source of our joy, our peace – our lives. When we delight in the Lord, we will be able to receive the desires of our heart – which will always be pure in nature.
And we pray:
Dear God, I pray that my mind will always stay fixed on You and I will trust in You completely. Father, may I never pay attention to any distractions that may come my way. Lord I pray that the desires of my heart will always be in sync with Who You Are. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
