When Jesus said, “It is finished.” That was symbolic.

Jesus knew that His mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture He said, “I am thirsty.” A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to His lips. When Jesus had tasted it, He said, “It is finished!” Then He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.

John 19:28-30

It was showing us that when God puts an end to things, in the natural, it is done. Jesus breathed His last breath. His lungs weren’t moving anymore, no more pulse. The soldiers even declared, “He died. He couldn’t save Himself.” All the circumstances said it was over.

But God wouldn’t have allowed the end if He didn’t have a greater beginning coming.

Don’t go by what it looks like. God is doing things you cannot see.

In the natural, it may look like the enemy got the best of you. God never changee! Daniel was thrown in the lions den and brought out, Samson was blinded and used for derision – yet Samson received annointing and in one moment did what he had not ever done.

We may see the door closed, the person walk away, the business not make it. The only reason the manna stopped is because there’s a Promised Land in your future. There’s something bigger, better, more rewarding than you can imagine.
