When the odds are against you and you don’t see how it could work out, don’t get discouraged. Remind yourself tomorrow will be better than today. That’s not just being positive. The Scripture says, “The path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter.”
Isaiah 49:16 See, your name is marked on my hands; your walls are ever before me.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
This means that we are not forgotten. God sees us. He sees our struggles, the negative changes in our lives and extra responsibilities on our shoulders, and He will be with us through it all. He promises to bring us out, and like Job, He will bless us after all is over.
The Lord reserves the best for the last. As long as you abide in Him, your tomorrow will surely be greater than today.
Haggai 2:9 ’The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the LORD Almighty. ’And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the LORD Almighty.
Let Us Pray
Oh Lord, Most Holy and righteous! Thank You for being a loving Father and friend. Thank You for being a great companion, encourager and comforter in my times of struggle.
You have been faithful to Your Word. You gave me hope and woke me up each day, even when I did not look forward to seeing a new day! Thank You, Lord Jesus.
Psalms 79:8 Oh, do not remember former iniquities against us! Let Your tender mercies come speedily to meet us, For we have been brought very low.
Lord, I had allowed myself to live hopelessly but I realized it was the enemy lying to me. He wants me to believe that things will never be better.
Father, Your Word says there is hope for a tree that is cut down because it will sprout again. How much more for me, Lord, for the Spirit, who raised Jesus Christ from the dead, lives in me! My life will sprout again, in Jesus name!
Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Joy Comes In The Morning
I may not feel things are getting better, but I see it with my eyes of faith. I pray Lord that my dreams and hope will come alive again.
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. This night will come to an end, and my morning will come and I will smile again.
Lord, I choose to believe in Your promises. I choose to remain positive. These extra responsibilities on my shoulders will work together for my good. My lack will work together to prove God’s power of provision.
Psalms 30:5b Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.
Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
My Tomorrow Will Be Greater
Thank You, Lord, that I can have joy again. You said that You have good plans for my life, and You will make all things work together for my good.
May my tomorrow be greater than my today, in Jesus name. May my tomorrow’s testimony be greater than today’s.
May my health prosper like never before. May my business boom. May all that concerns me prosper, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
