Get this down in your spirit. You’ve been chosen. You belong in God’s family (there is nothing greater!)
The Creator of the Universe handpicked you.
You may say: “Not me. I’ve made too many mistakes. You don’t know what I’ve done.”
Hold up! You’re a Saul!
And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of The Lord, went unto the high priest,
And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. Acts 9:1-2
1. Murder
2. Imprisonment/jailing
3. Rounded up like cattle!
But, you’re a chosen vessel. “I don’t come from a background of faith. I wasn’t raised like this. I don’t fit in.”
You’re a Simon. You’re still chosen.
“I have flaws and weaknesses. I don’t perform perfectly.” You’re a Peter.
God knew every shortcoming and He still chose you! Your story has been written!
Jeremiah was called by God as a child in the womb. Christians are the possession of the Lord, the apple of His eye. God is directly involved in our creation and development from the womb — he speaks our names, knits us together in our mother’s wombs, and says “I knew you before you were born.”
Now the tragedy is to go through life being chosen and never recognize it. You have to accept that God has a calling on your life. He put seeds of greatness in you. He’s given you a purpose, a divine assignment. Don’t let fear, insecurity, guilt, or regrets, keep you from your greatness. Step up to who God Created you to be.
This is your time to shine!
You’re chosen to set a new standard for your family.
You’re chosen to break the cycle of dysfunction.
You’re chosen to accomplish that dream God put in your heart.
You’re chosen to live a life of excellence and integrity, an abundant, victorious life, Amen.
