When it comes to ‘understanding’! I run quickly back to the account of Jonah. He was, as per the account swallowed by a 🐋 whale… Jonah or Jonas, son of Amittai, is a prophet in the Hebrew Bible from Gath-hepher of the northern kingdom of Israel in about the 8th century BCE. Jonah is the central figure of the Book of Jonah, which details his reluctance in delivering God’s judgement on the city of Nineveh.
Jonah’s story is recorded in 2 Kings 14:25, the book of Jonah, Matthew 12:39-41, 16:4, and Luke 11:29-32.
Moving quickly along: we are aware of Joseph- the dreamer; successfully overcame negativity – attempted murder, slavery, lust, imprisonment…still dreamt! Most importantly kept his faith in God!!! He was raised to believe and have a relationship with his Creator! His father was Jacob and his mother – Rachel. He was taught to faith! Near death continually, but led by The Spirit of God, his ‘dreams’ were given him for a reason!
Faith God into your life! God will forever be with you – whales stomach, prison, attempted murder, seduction… ALL-WAYS and ALWAYS, Amen.
