For starters, the book of Proverbs was written by king Solomon, son of king David. Very briefly, when David passed away, Solomon had a dream/vision and was asked what he desired (ANYTHING he desired!) That is complex! And we need at ALL times to be led by The Spirit of God Who dwells within us.
In a manner of speech. if someone asks you if you are possessed, you can say “Yes! By The Spirit of God!”
So, in returning to the meat of this share, the world’s wisest individual shares keen insight! Keep your father’s commandments and forsake not your mother’s teaching.
If and when raised by parents that love you, their keen instinct is to see you flourish. Hold that close to Your heart.
