Remember this:
Think back to your fondest memories of family meals. What made them memorable, the food or the togetherness? Would you trade those simple meals for a gourmet feast with people who bicker and fight with hostility? Most of us would not, for we recognize that the riches are comfort and are definitely not worth the cost of sacrificing peace and harmony.
And we pray:
Lord, I thank You for putting loving and kind people in my life. I am grateful for my natural family and my church family. Please help us to dwell in the richness of the bond of Love that we have in You, and not look with envy on the wealth and luxury of others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
