When your mind is in the past, you can’t enjoy the present. When you’re focused on the hurts, the wrongs, what they said, it’s going to keep you from the beauty of this day. You can’t stay in yesterday and enjoy today. You have to forgive, show mercy, and move forward. Keep joy in your home; keep laughter in your relationships. I know there are real issues, but living in strife, holding grudges, not forgiving, that’s keeping you from the new things God has in store.

We live in an imperfect world, and it is inevitable that bad times will come our way. No one can escape tears and heartache during this earthly life. As Christians, we have hope! Our knowledge of God’s presence brings us peace and comfort. We know God is in control and has ultimate power over the outcome of our struggles. As we wait patiently, God’s Spirit abides in our hearts, guiding and comforting us each moment.
And we pray:
Dear Lord, thank You for Your Presence and comfort through our struggles. You reassure us that Your MIGHTY hands will catch every tear and you will continue to Love us unconditionally. In Jesus’ Name I give You praise and I pray, Amen.
