Life is a brief expedition: Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God. It cost God plenty to get you out of that dead-end, empty-headed life you grew up in. 1 Peter 1:18-21

“The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Romans 8:16-18
If The Lord of the Universe suffered before being exalted, then those who are united to Him by faith will have to suffer as well! But make no mistake, the suffering that is our calling is the suffering that comes for confessing Jesus as our LORD and Savior.
