Blessed to be the most wise Man in His-Story – Solomon realized so many things…

Money lies! Money corrupts! This proverb represents Solomon’s sad observation of human selfishness: men are friendly for what they can get from others.

The poor man is hated even by his own neighbor: This is another of the proverbs that honestly describes the benefits of wealth.

Envy often stirs up bitterness in our hearts when we see what others have and decide we want it too. Perhaps we feel as though they don’t deserve particular material possessions they’ve worked for or we think negatively about ourselves because we haven’t achieved the same goals. Bitterness is poison to our souls when we allow it to control us. Instead of focusing on what others are doing, we will keep our focus on the Lord. His plan is perfect, and His timing is always right.

And we pray:

Father, forgive us for becoming envious of our brothers and sisters in Christ. We will remain focused on You and Your will for our lives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
