Some things you can’t fix. No matter how hard you try, how much pressure you apply, how many favors you call in, it’s not going to change. If you keep forcing it, trying to convince this person to do right, it’s not only going to bring more stress, more frustration, but you’re making matters worse. You’re going to do more damage than good. “Joel, I’m trying to use my faith.” Sometimes it takes more faith to do nothing than it does to get all stirred up. It takes more faith to leave it alone than it does to try to force it to happen. That battle is not yours; the battle is The Lord’s.
