When led pray! Midnight? Things are occurring ALWAYS in the spiritual!

Daniel 6:10 tells us that he would kneel down in his room with his face toward Jerusalem and pray three times a day: morning, noon and evening.

… and Acts refer to praying at the third, sixth, and ninth hours—respectively referring to about three hours after sunrise, noon, and three hours after noon

The three Biblical memorial hours of prayer are specifically the third hour, the sixth hour and the ninth hour of the day, or 9:00 A.M., 12 Noon and 3:00 P.M. These were important prayer disciplines faithfully observed by the Old Testament saints, the New Testament Church and by our Lord Jesus Christ.

In Apostolic Tradition, Hippolytus instructed Christians to pray seven times a day, “on rising, at the lighting of the evening lamp, at bedtime, at midnight” and “the third, sixth and ninth hours of the day, being hours associated with Christ’s Passion (i.e. 9 a.m., 12 p.m., 3 p.m.).”

The rhythm of the Divine Hours typically flows on a tri-hourly pattern, marked at 6:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., noon, 3:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m., bracketed by morning and evening prayers. Simpler variations focus on a morning prayer, a mid-day prayer, and an evening prayer.

Jesus emphasized the need to persevere in prayer, and by this, He meant that Christians ought to pray for at least two set times per day, during the day and at night. Notice in the following parable what the text says in verse 1 of Luke 18. He tells them how they should always pray.

There’s something powerful about praying at midnight. We are children of the light and when we pray we are invading the works of darkness and the children of it. Prayers at midnight intercept and overthrow demonic plots and schemes.

Around this time witchery and voodoo practices are being done but when we lift up our voices the foundation of darkness begins to break. Souls that have been captured spiritually begin to be released and freedom shall be our portion.

Paul and Silas prayed at midnight and the prison cell doors opened after an earthquake. This was a spiritual encounter that manifested physically. There was a spiritual and physical war to keep them in prison to hinder the gospel but the powers of heaven set them free at midnight and overthrew the works of darkness.

Acts 16:25-26

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, 26 and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were unfastened.
