First behemoth is the more appropriate description! Yes, there are laptops, thin tablets, phones that fold and open out to a screen! But, to stick with the initial question 🤔 – first computer! Just what to say 😂?

Kenbak-1. The Kenbak-1, released in early 1971, is considered by the Computer History Museum to be the world’s first personal computer. It was designed and invented by John Blankenbaker of Kenbak Corporation in 1970, and was first sold in early 1971.
English mathematician and inventor Charles Babbage is credited with having conceived the first automatic digital computer. During the mid-1830s Babbage developed plans for the Analytical Engine.
