Faith…

Today I am praying for those who’s faith may be waning due to a persistent issue, prayer requests, ailments, or problems in your life which seem to be going unanswered by God. Where/Why is my answer? I am praying in faith?

Dear friend, I want to remind and encourage you, that God is not blind to our sufferings, or deaf to our prayers.

In the King James Version (KJV) Bible, the concept of God seeing and knowing everything is most clearly expressed in passages like Hebrews 4:13, which states, “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do.”.

Key points to remember:

Omniscience:
This theological term refers to God’s attribute of knowing everything, past, present, and future.

Proverbs 5:21-23:

This passage also emphasizes God’s constant observation, saying, “For the Lord watches over the way of the upright, but the way of the wicked He sees.”

Psalm 139:1-18:

This Psalm beautifully describes God’s intimate knowledge of every detail of our lives, stating that “even the darkness is not dark to you, and the night is as bright as the day.”

Being a believer does not negate you from suffering, and the Bible tells us that one of the fruits of the spirit is long suffering, (Galatians 5:22).

Today I am sharing the story from the Gospel of Mark, where Jesus heals the woman with the issue of blood. This woman had been suffering with an ailment for twelve years! For twelve years her bleeding had not stopped.

Friend I don’t know about you, but sometimes if God hasn’t made a move for me in twelve minutes I can grow weary. This woman had sought the care of countless doctors over the years, yet to no avail she was still suffering.

Now as Jesus comes passing through the crowd this woman realizes her saving grace, and that this was her moment. It was not the doctors, treatments, or medications which healed her, it was her FAITH! Hebrews 11:1

This tells us exactly what faith is, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
‭‭-
Her faith that Jesus could change her condition, and that He could change her life gave this woman the courage and boldness to reach out her hand, and believe that with the touch of even His garment, she would be healed. Sweet friend, I am so happy to rejoice and tell you that is EXACTLY what happened. After twelve years of bleeding, the moment she touched Jesus her bleeding had ceased! Hallelujah!!!

In the Bible, Acts 19:11-12 describes how handkerchiefs and aprons that touched the skin of Paul were carried to the sick and used to heal them:

What happened?
God gave Paul the power to perform extraordinary miracles, and people carried handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched his skin to the sick. The sick were healed of their diseases, and evil spirits were expelled.
What it means?
The passage describes how God worked, but it doesn’t specifically instruct people to use prayer cloths. The New Testament doesn’t prohibit their use either.

What to consider!
Some say that prayer cloths can be a tangible reminder that friends are praying. However, others say that prayer cloths can be used as a money scheme, and that the Bible does not imply that prayers and spiritual favors can be bought and sold.

So today, I want to remind you to replenish your faith meter. Encourage yourself in the Lord, and believe that with one touch from Jesus Christ, you can be healed, delivered, and made whole.

With Love always by the grace of God, Amen 🙏🏾.

Mark‬ ‭5‬:‭25‬-‭34‬ ‬‬
“And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” “You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’ ” But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.””
