Faith is the substance of things not seen yet…

Ask in the Name of Jesus, receive, be blessed 🙌.

God’s angels encamp around those who fear Him. NB after being whipped, as opposed to sleeping the pain away in jail. Paul and Silas praised God.

The story of Paul and Silas in prison is told in the Bible in Acts 16:16-40:

Arrest: Paul and Silas were arrested by Philippian magistrates for spreading the news about Jesus.

Beating: Paul and Silas were beaten.
Imprisonment: Paul and Silas were thrown into jail and chained in an inner cell.

Prayer and song: Paul and Silas prayed and sang hymns to God at midnight.

Earthquake: An earthquake shook the prison, opening the doors and breaking the chains.

Jailer’s response: The jailer was about to kill himself, but Paul told him not to harm himself. The jailer brought Paul and Silas out, washed their wounds, and asked what he could do to be saved.

Release: Paul and Silas told the jailer to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and the magistrates sent officers to release them.

Escort: Paul and Silas were escorted from the prison and told to leave the city.
