By God’s beyond AWESOME grace, I am talented and Led by His Spirit to blessed things, Amen.

A testimony in faith:

Years ago (Yes! Years.) I lost my job secondary to a lie. Hallelujah! Yes! I am not crazy. Where I am now is a sum total of all the events in my life since then!

The ‘near death’ accident and recovery… the “No’s” in applying for jobs…

I AM blessed! Yes, I am. Lost house, property stolen. I still have my heart! My mind! My sanity. Yes! You can wonder 🤔 if I am “okay.” Yes, I am!

True joy? Knowledge of my eternity! ‘Life’ (the now.) Is so very limited!

1 Timothy 6:6-7 says, “But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into this world, and we cannot take anything out of the world“.

The main idea of this verse is that people who live in a way that honors God and are content with what they have have a strong spiritual life. This can help them through life’s difficulties.

The verse also suggests that contentment is not about what you have, but about Who you have – God is key here! It’s about finding joy, sufficiency, and satisfaction in Christ, not in material possessions.

When we focus on the present, we realize that we came into this world with nothing and will leave with nothing. Living in the moment frees us from the relentless pursuit of material gain and allows us to experience the fullness of God’s peace and provision.
