“God is your exceedingly great reward” a phrase from the Bible, Genesis 15:1. In this verse, God tells Abraham that He is his protector and that He will give Himself to Abraham as a reward for his faith.
Explanation
- God’s promise to Abraham was a covenant that assured him of security, protection, and blessings.
- God’s promise to Abraham went beyond material wealth and included spiritual blessings and the fulfillment of God’s promises.
- God’s promise to Abraham was a reassurance that he would be led on his journey, and that God would be with him when he needed him most.
John 4:23-24. The verse states, “True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. . . . God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth”.
Explanation
The verse describes the idea that worshiping God should be done with both emotion and truth. Some say that worship without emotion is dead orthodoxy, while worship without truth is empty frenzy.

“After these things the word of the LORD came to ABRAM in a VISION, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your EXCEEDINGLY GREAT REWARD.”
Gen. 15:1.
REWARD is desired by everyone, and it somehow impacts our PRAYERS. God committed Himself as an EXCEEDINGLY GREAT REWARD for ABRAM, but Abraham responded with anxiety to have his own CHILD. We can not blame him for we are in it together, a desire for continuity… what do you expect in return for your SERVICES to GOD and HUMANITY?
To be REWARDED by GOD in life is to never lack anything we NEED. If we remain VIRTUOUS and WORTHWHILE not only for one’s life on Earth but essentially for eternity. We guarantee God’s promises. Awesome! If our GOAL is to be with GOD for eternity. We won’t ever do EYE-SERVICE to please oneself or anyone, but we serve God from the depths of our hearts, in spirit and in truth. How are you running your RACE?
The truth? It takes CONTENTMENT and spiritual MATURITY to pursue GOD as a REWARD but it pays well and is totally without regret… so, magnify Him above your PROBLEMS and seek to please Him.
May God be our PRIORITY.🙏🔥
