What are you overflowing with? Overflowing with worry?
“What if it doesn’t work out?”
Overflowing with doubt?
“I don’t see how this problem can resolve.”
Overflowing with discouragement?
“It’s been so long; this challenge is too big.”
You’re overflowing with the wrong thing! If you’ll start overflowing with hope, believing despite what it looks like, thanking God when you could be complaining, expecting things to change in your favor, then you’re going to see God show out in your life.

“Give thanks in all circumstances” is a Bible verse from 1 Thessalonians 5:18. It means to be thankful to God no matter what happens because it’s God’s will.
Why give thanks in all things?
- To keep your focus on God
- To trust God
- To have an attitude of gratitude
- To change how you see your circumstances
- To recognize God’s hand in every situation
- To maintain a positive outlook
- To strengthen your faith
Other Bible verses about giving thanks:
- Colossians 2:6-7 says, “As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving”.
- Psalm 106:1 says, “Give thanks to the Lord because He is good”.
- Hebrews 13:15 says, “Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name”.
