THE GOSPEL TRUTH!

I am Loved… you’re Loved… the whole world is Loved by our Creator. This was confirmed and sealed by Jesus’ sacrificial offering of His sinless body, offered as a sacrifice for my sin (and for every human!)
The New Testament scriptures, particularly in Hebrews and Ephesians, describe Jesus’ death as a unique and final sacrificial offering for sins. These verses emphasize that Jesus’ sacrifice was not just a symbolic act, but a real and definitive payment for the sins of humanity, as explained by Desiring God.
Here’s a more detailed look:
1. Hebrews 10:10-18: This passage contrasts the repetitive animal sacrifices of the Old Testament with Jesus’ once-for-all sacrifice. It states that “by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all,” meaning that Jesus’ sacrifice was complete and sufficient.
2. Hebrews 9:12: This verse further emphasizes the uniqueness of Jesus’ sacrifice, stating that “He entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of His Own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption”.
3. Hebrews 5:2: This verse uses the image of a “fragrant offering and sacrifice to God” to describe Jesus’ self-giving Love for humanity.
4. Ephesians 5:2: This verse highlights Jesus’ selfless Love and His ultimate sacrifice for humanity, saying, “And walk in Love, as Christ Loved us and gave Himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
5. Other relevant verses:
- Hebrews 13:15: “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess His Name.”
- John 1:29: “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, ‘Behold, the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world!'”
- Isaiah 53:5: “But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.”
These verses highlight that Jesus’ sacrifice is the foundation of Christianity, providing forgiveness of sins and a path to reconciliation with God.
Interestingly, the ATHEISTS and the IDOLATERS are not left out in the Love; O yes! It anchors humanity!
A gospel hymn by H.H. Millman:
“Ride on, ride on in majesty! In LOWLY pomp RIDE ON TO DIE. O CHRIST, Your triumphs now begin o’er captive death and conquered sin.”
This quoted spiritual hymn celebrated the event of the PALM SUNDAY: can you imagine RIDING to deliver YOURSELF to DEATH in order to SAVE someone for no other reason than for the sake of Love? A deadly ride that brought life to humanity, Unimaginably painful for Him but JOYOUS for us!
“But God demonstrates His own Love toward us, in that while we were still SINNERS, CHRIST DIED for US.”
Rom. 5:8.
The message? Let’s meditate on the implications of JESUS’ trip to JERUSALEM… the hatred, oppositions and attack yet without retaliation and then responded with His amazing Love as our Savior!
Lord, we adore You!🙌🏻🙏🔥
