Can you trust God when He is silent?

“God never changes” refers to the biblical concept of God’s immutability, meaning that God’s character and being remain constant and unchanging. This concept is supported by various biblical passages, such as Malachi 3:6 (“I am the Lord, I do not change”) and Hebrews 13:8 (“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”).

  • Immutability in Character: God’s attributes like Love, faithfulness, mercy, justice, and power are unchanging. He remains consistent in His nature and actions.
  • Unchanging Promises: God’s promises, including those related to covenant, salvation, and provision, are also considered immutable and eternally valid.
  • Solid Foundation: The unchanging nature of God provides a source of comfort and stability for believers in a world of constant change.
  • Scriptural Support: Numerous verses in the Bible, such as Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8, affirm God’s immutability.
  • Impact on Faith: The unchanging nature of God is a cornerstone of faith, offering a reliable foundation for trust and hope.
