Are you “branded”?

In the same way, if you have confessed Jesus as “Lord” and “believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead” (Romans 10:9) then you, too, are branded in Christ spiritually. You have the “mark,” or stigmata, of God on your soul. You belong to Him. Furthermore, you belong to Him willingly.
In a metaphorical sense, yes, Christians can be thought of as “branded” in Christ. This idea is often used to describe the spiritual marking or allegiance that Christians have to God through Jesus Christ. This spiritual branding is a sign of ownership and a reflection of their identity in Christ.
Elaboration:
- Spiritual Branding: The concept of “branding” in Christianity is not a literal physical mark, but rather a metaphorical one. It represents the internal change and commitment that comes with following Jesus.
- Allegiance and Ownership: Just as a branded animal belongs to an owner, Christians are seen as belonging to God, marked by their faith in Christ.
- Marks of a Christian: The “brand” or “mark” of a Christian is not necessarily a physical tattoo, but rather the outward expression of their faith and love for Christ.
- Identity in Christ: Christians are seen as having a unique identity in Christ, separate from their worldly identity. This identity is reflected in their actions, character, and relationships.
- Living a Life of Witness: Just as a calf with a brand is easily identified as belonging to a certain ranch, Christians are encouraged to live lives that clearly demonstrate their allegiance to Christ. This includes sharing their faith, loving others, and reflecting Christ’s character in their daily lives.
THE TRIPODS OF FAITH.

It’s a driving force in our modern society especially among our young ones. Looking sophisticated to STAND OUT is good, and so, many can spend FORTUNES for that to be accepted by the world of glamor. It’s not exaggeration to say that some BRAND NAMES have been IDOLIZED!
“Do not LOVE the WORLD or THE THINGS in the WORLD. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the LUST of the FLESH, the LUST of the EYES, and the PRIDE of LIFE —is not of the Father but is of the world.”
1 Jh. 2:15-16.
Many can’t FAST to seek God’s face Who GUIDES their FOOTSTEPS but they can skip meals to save money for high BRAND NAMES. Largely, we VALUES LIFE than its GIVER whenever we pursue it at the expense of God. Awful! Are you totally guiltless of these?
The truth? The HUMILITY, SIMPLICITY and MODESTY of CHRIST are highly needed virtues to please God regardless of the BRAND NAMES we use. Let’s learn!
It is well. 🙏
