2 Listen, my son! Listen, son of my womb!
Listen, my son, the answer to my prayers!
3 Do not spend your strength on women,
your vigor on those who ruin kings.
4 It is not for kings, Lemuel—
it is not for kings to drink wine,
not for rulers to crave beer,
5 lest they drink and forget what has been decreed,
and deprive all the oppressed of their rights.

KING LEMUEL’S MOTHER taught him the eternal lessons of life to beware of ADULTERY and careless DRINKING but to keep the LAWS of GOD. JOSEPH missed such MOTHERING, he exposed his dreams and would have messed up his destined PALACE in the PIT of SINS and HOUSEHOLD ENEMIES but for GOD’S MERCY that helped him out. Noteworthy!
The truth? God’s ETERNAL PALACE for us in CHRIST stand if we OBEY HIM and reject all the OFFERS of PORTIPHA’S WIFE… so, aim for your PALACE with the FEAR of GOD.
