Your testimony! Share it to God’s glory. You were Created for a purpose! Let God shine in and through you, Amen.

The Bible teaches that everyone is created by God with a purpose, and that purpose is ultimately to glorify Him and enjoy Him forever. This purpose is woven into the very fabric of creation, with everything being made for God’s glory. While God’s ultimate purpose for humanity is to bring Him glory, He also gives each individual unique gifts and talents, enabling them to serve others and reflect His character.

Here’s a more detailed explanation:

  • Glory of God: The primary purpose for which God created humanity, and all of creation, is to glorify Him. This means living in a way that reflects His attributes, character, and nature.
  • Individual Purpose: While the overarching purpose is to glorify God, Bible scholars suggest that God also gives each person unique gifts, talents, and personalities. These are to be used to serve others and to contribute to the overall good of the world, ultimately bringing glory to God.
  • Relationship with God: The Bible also emphasizes that God created humanity for a relationship with Him. He desires to be known, loved, and worshipped by His creation. This relationship is restored through faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Examples in Scripture: The Bible provides examples of individuals fulfilling their purpose, such as Esther, who was placed in a position of influence for a specific time (Esther 4:14). Similarly, individuals like Paul, Peter, and others are shown to use their unique gifts to serve God and others.
  • Living for God’s Glory: Ultimately, the Bible calls believers to live every aspect of their lives, including their work, relationships, and interactions, in a way that honors and glorifies God.

Bible stories can be considered testimonies. In essence, a testimony is a personal account of an experience, and the Bible is filled with narratives that can be interpreted as such, both from individuals encountering God and from God’s interactions with humanity. These stories, particularly in the New Testament, often detail personal encounters with Jesus and his teachings, serving as testimonies for those who witnessed these events.

For example, the Book of Acts in the New Testament is essentially a collection of testimonies about the early Christian church and the spread of the gospel. The conversion of Paul, as detailed in Acts, is a powerful example of a personal transformation that can be considered a testimony.

Ultimately, the Bible is a collection of narratives that serve as testimonies of God’s work in the world and in the lives of individuals, according to a Christian website.

Here’s why bible stories can be viewed as testimonies:

  • Personal Encounters: Many biblical accounts detail individuals’ personal encounters with God, angels, or Jesus, often resulting in a transformed life.
  • Witnessing Miracles: Stories of miracles, like Jesus healing the sick or raising the dead, can be seen as testimonies of God’s power and intervention.
  • God’s Actions and Promises: Narratives about God’s actions in the world, his promises, and his faithfulness to his people can be considered testimonies of his character.
  • Lessons Learned: The stories in the Bible often illustrate moral and spiritual lessons, and these lessons can be seen as testimonies about the consequences of certain actions and the benefits of others.
  • Examples of Faith and Perseverance: The stories of figures like Job, David, and Ruth, demonstrate faith, resilience, and trust in God during challenging times, serving as testimonies of the human capacity to endure and overcome hardship with God’s help.
  • Shared Experiences: Many Christians find that their own experiences resonate with the stories in the Bible, and these shared experiences reinforce the validity of the biblical narratives as testimonies of faith.

THE TRIPOD OF FAITH.

Are you walking with God?

For ABRAHAM, God’s PROMISES never failed

NOAH will say: “remain FAITHFUL even when the world doubts you…”

JOSEPH will say what others meant for EVIL, God can and will turn it around to good

DAVID’S story teaches that with GOD, no GIANT is too big to defeat

Now, add your STORY… what has it established about GOD to the world?

Psalm 139:16, in the New International Version (NIV), reads: “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” This verse speaks to the idea that God has knowledge of and plans for a person’s life before they are even conceived.

Here’s a breakdown of the verse:

Interpretations:

  • Predestination: Some interpret this verse as evidence of predestination, the idea that God has preordained everything that will happen.
  • God’s Knowledge and Care: Others focus on God’s intimate knowledge and care for each individual, seeing the verse as a comfort and reassurance of God’s watchful presence.
  • Divine Purpose: The verse can also be interpreted as highlighting the idea that each person has a specific purpose and role to fulfill in God’s plan.
  • At the Moment of Conception: Some interpretations, particularly in discussions about abortion, see this verse as supporting the belief that life begins at conception, with God already having a plan for that life.

Different Translations:

Different translations of Psalm 139:16 may use slightly different wording, but the core message remains consistent. For example, the New King James Version (NKJV) reads: “Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.”

Psalm 139, as a whole, emphasizes God’s omniscience, omnipresence, and intimate knowledge of humanity, and 139:16 serves as a powerful illustration of this.

God created us uniquely to SHOWCASE HIMSELF variously to the world but all depends on WALKING with HIM. Every situation we experienced is meant to tell certain STORIES about GOD but we often misses it when we focused on only “BREAD and BUTTER” at the expense of GOD’S INPUTS to make us FULFILLED! Hmmm…

The truth? We haven’t lived until our STORIES tally with the one written in GOD’S BOOK… So, discover yours, never miss it!

It’s well. 🙏🔥
