TRIALS and BLESSINGS… how do you view them?

Trials and blessings are interconnected aspects of life, particularly within a spiritual context. Trials, or hardships, are often viewed as opportunities for growth and refinement, leading to greater blessings. They are not random events meant to destroy, but rather are part of a larger plan that can ultimately lead to spiritual maturity and a stronger relationship with God.

Here’s a more detailed breakdown:

Trials as Opportunities for Growth:

  • Testing and Refinement: Trials can be seen as tests of faith, patience, and perseverance, revealing areas where one needs to grow and mature spiritually.
  • Character Development: According to some Christian perspectives, God uses trials to build character, ensuring one is prepared to handle greater blessings.
  • Spiritual Growth: Trials can force one to rely on God, leading to a deeper understanding of His power and provision.
  • Humility and Perspective: Difficulties can humble individuals, shifting their focus from worldly desires to spiritual priorities.
  • Preparation for Future Blessings: Trials can prepare individuals to receive and appreciate future blessings, as they have developed the necessary strength and wisdom.

Blessings as the Outcome of Trials:

  • Spiritual Maturity: The overcoming of trials often leads to spiritual maturity, allowing one to experience deeper joy and peace.
  • Closer Relationship with God: Trials can draw individuals closer to God as they seek His guidance and strength.
  • Greater Understanding: Through trials, individuals can gain a better understanding of God’s character, His plan, and His love.
  • Purpose and Meaning: Trials can reveal a deeper sense of purpose and meaning in life, as one recognizes God’s hand in their experiences.
  • Gratitude and Appreciation: Experiencing hardship can lead to a greater appreciation for the blessings one has and the goodness in life.

Biblical Perspectives:

  • James 1:2-4: This passage encourages believers to “count it all joy” when they face trials, recognizing that the testing of their faith produces patience.
  • Romans 5:3-5: This passage highlights the joy that comes from enduring trials, as it leads to perseverance, character, and hope.

In essence, the view of trials and blessings is that they are not mutually exclusive, but rather interwoven aspects of a spiritual journey, where challenges are opportunities for growth, and blessings are the fruits of persevering through adversity.

THE TRIPOD OF FAITH.

Trials and blessings; how are the TWO connected?

“And GOD is able to GIVE you MORE than you NEED, so that you will always have ALL you NEED for yourselves and more than enough for every GOOD CAUSE.”

2 Cor. 9:8 (GNT).

We all need God’s blessings, and we pray endlessly for them. From Paul in this bible quote, God is able and even eager to give us more than we need; but notably, for GOOD WORKS. Our PURITY and VIRTUES here is the basic platforms for every other BLESSING and God builds it into us through TRIALS that humble us to let go of/give up ALL the IRRELEVANCIES and EVIL for us to WALK into His ETERNAL PLAN and PURPOSE. Our responses to the TRIALS then determined our VICTORY and BLESSINGS. Have you been there?

The message? A great life is about God’s ETERNAL PURPOSE, the greatest BLESSING, not the material WEALTH but that requires PROCESSING… so, aim to PASS those TRIALS and walk into GOD’S SUFFICIENCY!

Blessings!🙌🙏🔥
