The primary priority in bible teaching is God, you were/are created for a reason! This is no passing comment! Rather, it is a fact of life!
“God created each person for a purpose” is a core belief. This purpose is both universal, in that all humanity is created for certain ends, and are unique, as each individual is made with specific gifts and callings.
Universal purpose
According to the Bible, the overarching purpose for all of humanity is to glorify God, have a Loving relationship with Him, and reflect His Image to the world.
Y’all, we have a purpose!
Key aspects of this universal purpose include:
- To know and Love God: At its heart, the relationship between God and humanity is meant to be one of Love and connection. Passages like John 17:3 describe eternal life as knowing God, and Deuteronomy 6:5 calls for Loving God with all your heart, soul, and might.
- To bear God’s Image: Genesis 1:26–27 states that humans were made in God’s image and likeness. This means reflecting God’s attributes, such as creativity, intelligence, and a capacity for relationships, through our lives and actions.
- To be good stewards: God originally gave humanity dominion over creation to care for and cultivate it (Genesis 1:28). This role of stewardship remains a part of the human purpose.
Individual purpose
Beyond the universal purpose, Christian teaching also emphasizes that each person is a unique, intentional creation with a distinct part to play in God’s plan.
Scriptural support for individual purpose includes:
- “God’s handiwork”: Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”. This suggests that each individual is crafted by God for specific works unique to them.
- “Knew you before I formed you”: Jeremiah 1:4–5 recalls God’s words to the prophet: “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations”. This idea extends to all individuals, implying that God knows and ordains the life of each person.
- Uniquely equipped: Romans 12:6–8 explains that the Holy Spirit gives different gifts to each person for the purpose of serving others. These individual talents and passions are part of the unique design that helps each person fulfill their purpose.

Finding your purpose
From a Christian perspective, fulfilling one’s purpose involves living in alignment with God’s will and embracing the unique person God created. This includes:
- Developing a relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ.
- Honoring God and seeking his approval in all things, rather than seeking the approval of others.
- Using unique gifts and talents to serve others.
- Acknowledging that even life’s struggles can serve a purpose in shaping you for God’s plan.
the goal of having a deep, intimate relationship with Him, which involves seeking His Kingdom and righteousness first. This is rooted in the Great Commandment to Love God with all your heart and soul, as taught by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. Therefore, the priority is a “who” – God Himself – over any “what,” as placing God first will shape other priorities and lead to a fulfilling life.
Biblical Basis for God as Priority
- The Great Commandment: The Bible emphasizes Loving and prioritizing God above all else, as seen in Matthew 6:33, Jesus says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you”.
- Ten Commandments: The first commandment explicitly states, “You shall have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3), establishing God’s supreme place in the lives of His people.
- Jesus’ Example:Jesus Himself prioritized pleasing God, saying, “I seek not to please myself but him who sent me” (John 5:30).
Practical Ways to Make God the Priority
- Daily Devotion:Spend time reading Scripture and engaging in prayer to keep your heart aligned with God’s will and foster spiritual growth.
- Worship and Thanksgiving:Regularly offer spiritual sacrifices of worship and express gratitude to God, maintaining an ongoing conversation with Him.
- Obedience:Show your love and commitment to God by obeying His commands.
- Community:Participate in a church or community of believers to receive encouragement, accountability, and support for your faith journey.
- Trust in God’s Provision:Confidently expect God to meet your needs as you prioritize His kingdom, rather than relying on your own strength or the approval of others.

THE TRIPOD OF FAITH.

WHAT or WHO comes to your mind FIRST when taking DECISIONS?
WHO or WHAT drives your life?
The only ANSWER to these QUESTIONS must be GOD if we don’t want to remain STAGNANT all through lifetime. PUTTING GOD FIRST changes the way we THINK, ACT, REACT and behave; moreover, life’s CHOICES, VALUES and AMBITIONS are inspired and led by Him as channels to His BLESSINGS. Do you believe in God? To what extent can you ENTRUST your life to Him? Notably, many believers never GROW UP to be relevant for they wanted God to sponsor WHO they were and never WHO He made them to be hence they missed ALL His divine ADDITIONS to them!

The truth? The eternal CHANGES take place when GOD is SECOND to NONE; we stopped living by SIGHT but by His SPIRIT and thus IMMOVABLE… so, SEEK Him FIRST and worry no more!
It is well, Amen.🙏🔥
