Read this well. People ARE NOT yours source, God IS!

Several verses affirm that God is our ultimate Source;

1 Corinthians 8:6 states He is the “Source of all things”,

James 1:17 calls every good and perfect gift from Him,

Philippians 4:19 says God will meet all your needs,

and Psalm 36:9 calls Him the “Source of all life”.

God as the Source of All Things

  • 1 Corinthians 8:6: “Yet for us there is [only] one God, the Father, Who is the Source of all things…”

God as the Source of Your Needs

  • Philippians 4:19: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus”.

God as the Source of All Gifts

  • James 1:17: “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, Who does not change like shifting shadows”.

God as the Source of Life

  • Psalm 36:9: “You are the source of all life, and because of your light we see the light”.

God as the Source of Strength

  • Isaiah 40:28-31: “The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the Earth. He never grows weak or weary”.

People are not your source—God is. Too often, we depend on others for approval, provision, or direction, forgetting that every good gift ultimately comes from the Lord. People may help you, but they are only vessels. God alone is your Provider, your Sustainer, and your Source of strength. When doors close, He can open new ones. When resources run out, He can multiply what little you have.

Putting your trust in people will leave you disappointed, but placing your hope in God will never fail. He knows what you need before you even ask and provides in ways you could never imagine. Lift your eyes off people and fix them on the One Who holds the world in His hands.

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:19

God bless you abundantly, in Jesus’ MIGHTY Name, Amen.
