God is everywhere! Think on this; in the belly of the whale, in the deep every word of Jonah’s prayer was heard!

Yes, the biblical story of Jonah emphasizes that God was with him in the belly of the whale. While inside the fish for three days and nights, Jonah prayed to God, who heard him and eventually commanded the fish to vomit Jonah onto dry land. This is seen as an example of God’s presence and control even in the most dire and dark situations. 

• God’s role: The Bible states that God “prepared” the great fish to swallow Jonah, and that Jonah’s survival was a result of God’s will.
• Jonah’s prayer: From the belly of the fish, Jonah prayed to God and cried out in his distress, and the book of Jonah says that God heard him.
• Miraculous deliverance: The story shows God’s power by having the fish save Jonah from drowning, and ultimately commanding the fish to spit him out onto dry land.
• Symbolic meaning: The story is often used to illustrate that God is intimately involved in the lives of people, even when they are disobedient, and can hear prayers from even the darkest of places. 

In the furnace roaring with flames…a Heavenly being was in the midst of the flames, from which they exited untouched by a single flame or smell of smoke!

The biblical story of the “fiery furnace” from the Book of Daniel 3. It refers to the miraculous event where Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into a superheated furnace for refusing to bow to a golden idol. Instead of being consumed, they were protected by a heavenly being—often identified as a pre-incarnate Christ or an angel—who walked with them through the flames, and the fourth figure was described as looking like a “Son of God”. 

• The story: king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was furious that three of his officials, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah (also known as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego), would not worship his golden statue. In his anger, he commanded them to be thrown into a furnace heated seven times hotter than usual.
• The miracle: When the king looked into the furnace, he saw four men walking freely in the fire, untouched by the flames. The fourth figure was described as having the appearance of a god or the “Son of God”.
• The deliverance: The fire, which killed the men who threw them in, did not harm Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, nor did it even singe their hair or clothes.
• The meaning: The event is a testament to the power of God’s presence to protect those who remain faithful to Him in times of trial. It symbolizes that even in the hottest “fires” of life, God can provide a miraculous deliverance. 

Several Bible verses speak to God knowing where you are, with Psalm 139:1-4 

Psalm 139:1-4 describes God’s intimate knowledge of every aspect of a person’s life, stating that He knows when they sit or stand, understands their thoughts, is familiar with all their ways, and knows what they will say before they speak. This passage emphasizes God’s omniscience (all-knowing nature) and the deep awareness He has of each individual. 

• You know me: The psalm begins with the declaration that God has searched and knows the speaker completely, including every detail of their life.
• You know my actions and thoughts: It continues by describing God’s awareness of a person’s daily activities, from sitting down to standing up, and discerning their thoughts from a distance.
• You are familiar with all my ways: God is intimately acquainted with all of a person’s paths and habits, both in their travels and their resting.
• You know my words: The passage concludes by stating that God knows what a person is going to say before they even say it. 

and Job 23:10 being prominent examples. Psalm 139 states that God knows your actions, your thoughts, and where you go, while Job 23 expresses Job’s trust that God knows the path he is on. 

From the book of Psalms

• Psalm 139:1-4 (New Century Version): “LORD, you have examined me and know all about me. You know when I sit down and when I get up. You know my thoughts before I think them. You know where I go and where I lie down. You know everything I do. LORD, even before I say a word, you already know it”.
• Psalm 139:3 (New International Version): “You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways”. 

From the book of Job

• Job 23:10 (New International Version): “But He knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold”.

• Matthew 10:30: “But even the hairs of your head are all numbered”.
• Hebrews 13:5: “I will never leave you, [I will never] forsake you”.

God’s omnipresence essentially cancels out the basis of this concept. We can view that mountains and beaches offer symbolic personal biblical lessons.

God is everywhere.
