God Created ALL things. Allow Him to re-Create you this month…

“For God, Who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.”

Spiritually, December represents rest, renewal, and inner reflection, mirroring the natural world during the winter solstice, the longest night of the year. It is a time for quiet introspection, preparing for the future, and celebrating light in the darkness, with symbolic meanings including the birth of the sun and spiritual awakening.

Themes and symbolism

  • Rest and introspection: The spiritual significance of December is deeply tied to the winter season, when nature enters a period of deep rest. This can be a time for individuals to also turn inward, practice stillness, and engage in self-reflection.
  • The birth of light: The winter solstice, which occurs in December, symbolizes the birth of the sun and the return of longer days. This is often interpreted as a metaphor for the birth of the spiritual “sun” within each person, representing hope and renewal.
  • “Darkness” as a sacred time: The darkness of December is not seen as something to fear, but as a sacred time for growth, much like a seed lying dormant in the cold. It’s considered a time for restorative rest and dreaming, allowing for the sacred work of inner renewal to happen unseen, before the return of spring.
  • Preparation and potential: The quiet of December is a time to prepare for what is to come. Just as nature stores its energy, this month is a time for individuals to gather their own strength, set intentions, and prepare to bring their spiritual practices into the new year.

Religious and cultural observances

  • Christmas: The Christian celebration of Christmas on December 25th focuses on the birth of Jesus, symbolizing the incarnation of God into the world and the importance of embodying faith through love and generosity.

No matter what you’re facing, remember: no situation is too hard for God to change. Remember that nothing physical existed until God spoke it into being! Yes! There were challenges for Wisdom! Realize, it was a process of seeing what was spoken into existence…

For a second, let’s journey back in time

God creating the heavens and the earth in six days, followed by a seventh day of rest. The process involved God creating light, the sky, land and vegetation, the sun, moon, and stars, sea and flying creatures, and finally, land animals and humans. The story emphasizes God as the all-powerful creator who made the world out of chaos, culminating in humanity being created in his image.

The 7 days of creation

  • Day 1: God created light, separated it from darkness, and called them “day” and “night”.
  • Day 2: God created an expanse to separate the waters, calling it “sky” or “heaven”.
  • Day 3: God created dry ground and seas, and on this land, he created all vegetation, including plants and trees.
  • Day 4: God created the sun, moon, and stars to provide light for the earth and to mark seasons and years.
  • Day 5: God created all the creatures that live in the seas and the birds that fly in the air.
  • Day 6: God created all land animals and, last of all, created humans (man and woman) in his own image to rule over the earth.
  • Day 7: God rested from his work and blessed this day, making it holy.

He can heal, restore, and guide you through every challenge.

And as we step into a brand-new month—the final month of 2025—walk with hope. God is going before you, preparing the way, strengthening you, and opening doors you cannot yet see.

“For with God nothing will be impossible.”
Luke 1:37

God bless abundantly.
