God did not send His Son to condemn us. God did the total opposite – He sent His Son to save us from condemnation and eternal damnation.
The reason why we can gladly say we are ‘children’ of God, and that the salvation we have received is eternal, is because God gave His Son up to pay the price so that we would not have to. We will never find a Love greater than this from anyone else!

Dear God, I will always be in awe when I think of how great Your Love for me, and everyone in this world, is!
We weren’t anywhere close to righteous when You sent Your Son – Jesus Christ, to die for us; but that did not stop You. It did not move You away from us. If anything, it compelled You even more to redeem us and You did this without anyone asking. You truly are a Good, Good, Loving Creator – Father. In Jesus’ Name, I give You praise and I pray. Amen.
