What we NEED to start THIS year off with! The Word of God, Amen.

I give glory to God for His promises; we NEED to learn, know, claim and receive what is TRULY ours!
10 of God’s Promises for YOU:

– God’s Love endures forever. (Psalm 136; Isaiah 54:10)

– Mercy is available to everyone who repents. (I John 1:9; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Psalm 86:5)

– God NEVER leaves. (Deuteronomy 31:8; Joshua 1:9, Hebrews 13:5)

– God provides strength for the weary. (Isaiah 40:31; 41:10)

– God is our rescue and protection. (Psalm 9:9-10; Psalm 107:13-16)

– God’s salvation is for the entire world. (John 3:16, 3:36)

– God will meet our needs. (Philippians 4:19)

– God is always comforting us. (Psalm 23:4, Psalm 27:1)

– God hears our prayers. (Psalm 34:17; Psalm 50:15)

– All things will work out for our good. (Romans 8:28; Psalm 31:19)

What promises would you add to this list? Do you believe that God’s promises are there for us to BELIEVE?

There was a man in the New Testament who knew faith was the key to the healing of his son. He cried, “Lord, I believe, help my unbelief.” So we too, when we are drowning in sorrow, may we pray God to give us belief, faith, trust that we need.

Remember this THIS year and ALWAYS! If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you will tell a mountain to move and be cast into the sea! Jesus, The Word of God taught this FACT!

Matthew 17:20-21 “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and NOTHING will be impossible for you.” Do ALL things to the glory of God!

“Do all things to the glory of God” is a core Christian principle from 1 Corinthians 10:31, meaning to live life with the ultimate aim of honoring God in every action, from mundane tasks like eating and drinking to major decisions, by reflecting His love, holiness, and character, making choices that please Him, and considering the impact on others. It involves seeking His advantage over your own and showing His goodness in all your conduct.

What it means in practice:

– Honor God in daily life: Whether you’re working, eating, helping the poor, or changing diapers, do it with an attitude of worship and thankfulness, making your life a testimony to His worth.
– Live with consideration for others: The context of 1 Corinthians 10:31-33 emphasizes not causing offense or stumbling blocks to others (Jews, Greeks, or the Church), prioritizing their spiritual well-being over personal freedom.
– Reflect God’s character: Your actions should reveal God’s justice, righteousness, and holiness to the world, demonstrating His glory through your decisions and conduct.
– Involve Jesus: Colossians 3:17 parallels this by saying to do everything “in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him”.

How to do it:

– Be intentional: Ask yourself if your actions bring glory or dishonor to God.

– Strive to please Him: Make pleasing God your primary goal, even in seemingly insignificant tasks.

– Give thanks: Cultivate an attitude of gratitude in everything you do.

It is not weakness to need more faith. It is strength to know where to find the faith we need: In God Himself. May we remember His promises
