As we recieve from The Creator of ALL things; we are blessed with our offspring.

Psalm 115:14-15 is a blessing from the Bible, often used in worship, that invokes God’s favor for growth and prosperity, stating, “May the LORD give you increase more and more, you and your children. May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth” (NKJV/KJV). This passage promises blessing and fertility, connecting the people’s well-being to the sovereign Creator of the universe, contrasting with the impotence of idols discussed earlier in Psalm 115.

Key themes:

  • Increase & Blessing: A prayer for numerical and spiritual growth, extending to future generations.
  • Divine Sovereignty: Emphasizes that blessings come from the LORD, the one who created everything, highlighting His power over false gods.
  • Priestly Invocation: Acts as a priestly blessing on the people for their faithfulness.
