Prior to my accident, it was success. I was driven by the unspoken desire/drive to be appropriately positioned in my life. Now, my life has a new meaning!

Jesus told his followers, “Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature,” a command found in Mark 16:15, instructing them to spread the “Good News” (gospel) globally to all people, promising salvation for believers and condemnation for unbelievers, with signs following those who believe. This directive, known as the Great Commission, calls believers to actively share their faith everywhere, not just within church walls, emphasizing universal reach and the power of the message.
Key aspects of the command (Mark 16:15-18)
- Universal scope: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (or “every creature”).
- The message: Preach the “Good News” (the gospel).
- The outcome: “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned”.
- Signs for believers: Includes casting out demons, speaking in new tongues, handling snakes, drinking poison, and healing the sick.
Meaning and interpretation
- Active evangelism: It’s a call to take the message out to the world, not wait for people to come to church.
- Broad audience: “Every creature” or “all creation” means every person, everywhere, across different cultures and systems.
- Core mission: This command serves as a foundational mission for the church, emphasizing the universal availability of salvation through faith in Jesus.
Death is inevitable, how you live your life is influences by your belief systems and philosophy: for some, it’s spiritual continuation (soul, reincarnation) or a return to energy; for others, it’s the end of consciousness, shifting focus to living meaningfully now, leaving a legacy, embracing life’s cycle, or finding peace in acceptance, with science suggesting physical cessation but existence continuing.
The Bible teaches that after death, believers go to be with the Lord, experiencing eternal life, while unbelievers face judgment and a place of torment (Hades/Hell) until the final resurrection and judgment, where everyone receives new, incorruptible bodies, with believers entering God’s eternal kingdom and unbelievers facing eternal separation, all centered on faith in Jesus Christ as the source of resurrection and life.
For Believers (Christians)
Immediate Presence with Christ: Upon death, the spirit of a believer goes directly to be with the Lord, as described in 2 Corinthians 5:8.
– Eternal Life: Jesus promised, “Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live; and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die” (John 11:25-26).
– Resurrection & New Body: God’s Spirit, who raised Jesus, will also make believers’ bodies alive again, granting them immortal, incorruptible bodies (Romans 8:11, 1 Corinthians 15:52).
– Eternal Kingdom: Believers inherit the kingdom prepared for them, experiencing eternal life in God’s presence (Matthew 25:34).
For Unbelievers
– Hades/Hell: Unbelievers go to a place of torment (Hades/Hell) after death, with no escape, awaiting final judgment (Revelation 20:13-14).
Final Judgment: All will face the Great White Throne Judgment, where they are judged and separated for eternity.
Key Themes & Concepts
Faith in Jesus: Belief in Jesus is central to receiving eternal life; He is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25).
No Second Chances: Destiny is set at death; there’s no altering one’s eternal fate (Verse by Verse Ministry).
Resurrection of the Body: A core belief is the future resurrection where all people receive new bodies for eternity, not just an immortal soul living on.
Hope Over Fear: Christian hope sees death as a gateway to God, not an end, overcoming the fear of death (Romans 8:11, 1 Corinthians 15:52).
We as human are Created in God’s Image!

This is a core belief in many faiths, especially Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam), stemming from Genesis 1:27, meaning humans reflect God’s qualities like rationality, morality, and spirituality, giving them unique dignity and purpose, though it doesn’t imply literal physical resemblance, but rather bearing divine attributes and responsibility for creation.
Key Aspects of “Imago Dei” (Image of God)
- Biblical Foundation: Genesis 1:26-27 states, “Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.’ So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them”.
- Spiritual & Intellectual Nature: It signifies humans possess qualities like reason, consciousness, morality, and the capacity for love, justice, and compassion, reflecting God’s own character.
- Dominion & Responsibility: Being made in God’s image grants humans authority over creation and the responsibility to care for it.
- Relational Capacity: Humans are designed for relationship with God and with each other.
- Not Physical Resemblance: It doesn’t mean God has a human body, but that humans carry a spiritual imprint of the Divine.
- Universal & Enduring: This concept applies to all humans (male and female, all races) and remains even after the Fall, with potential for renewal through faith.
Across Faiths
- Judaism: Emphasizes humanity’s unique capacity to know and serve God.
- Christianity: Views Jesus Christ as the ultimate image of God, restoring humanity’s likeness to Him (Colossians 1:15).
- Islam: Believes humans are created in Allah’s “image” (or as His vicegerents/representatives on Earth), sharing attributes like knowledge and mercy, but distinct from Allah.
– Create Meaning: Life’s purpose isn’t inherent; you give it meaning by finding what you enjoy, learning, and pursuing passions.
Embrace the Journey: View life as a journey with an inevitable end, focusing on depth and gratitude rather than length, as death is part of nature’s cycle.
– Focus on Legacy: Find purpose in influencing others positively, leaving a good heritage through your children, work, or community.
– Acceptance: Acknowledge death as a natural part of life, reducing anxiety by focusing on present actions and enjoying life.
Spiritual & Religious Views (Afterlife)
– Immortality of the Soul: Many faiths believe the soul survives physical death, moving to another realm (heaven, spiritual dimensions) or reincarnating.
– Spiritual Evolution: The soul continues its journey, returning home to a higher dimension or choosing new life forms to continue learning.
The biggest influence in my life was my motor vehicle accident – death is inevitable! Then what next?
My story has been shared uncountable times! After the accident, I experienced what I now was Allowed back to share:
- EVERYONE will die! What happens after we cease to breathe and our hearts cease to beat? In summary – after we are ‘pronounced’, then what? It will happen to everyone currently alive!

The Bible teaches that physical death is an inevitable consequence of sin, a universal destiny for all humans, famously stated in Hebrews 9:27: “people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment”. Other key verses like Ecclesiastes 7:2 (“death is the destiny of everyone”) and Ecclesiastes 8:8 (“No one can keep from dying”) emphasize this finality, but also point to hope in Christ for believers, as 1 Corinthians 15:22 notes, “In Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive”.
Key Verses on Inevitable Death:
- Hebrews 9:27: “And just as it is appointed for mortals to die once, and after that the judgment”.
- Ecclesiastes 7:2: “It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of everyone; the living should take this to heart”.
- Ecclesiastes 8:8: “No one can keep from dying or put off the day of death; no one can escape that battle”.
- Genesis 3:19: “By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return” (referencing the curse after the Fall).
Hope Beyond Death:
- 1 Corinthians 15:22: “For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive”.
- 2 Corinthians 5:8: Believers are “at home with the Lord” when absent from the body.
These verses highlight that while physical death is a universal outcome of sin, the Bible offers resurrection and eternal life through Jesus Christ for those who believe, transforming death from a final end into a transition.
