The LORD hears our silent tears…

THE VOICE OF TRUTH!

Have you ever stuck in a hopeless situations whereby every way is closed against you except the channel of prayer with tears?

Praying with tears is a deeply powerful, non-verbal form of communication with the divine, seen across faiths, where weeping expresses vulnerability, surrender, profound emotion, and intercession when words fail, allowing for deep healing, connection, and breakthrough, as tears are considered a direct, understood language of the heart that God receives as a sacred offering, even leading to new seasons of joy.

What it signifies

  • Vulnerability & Surrender: Letting go of personal strength and opening your heart to God’s power.
  • Wordless Prayer: When words aren’t enough, tears become prayers of sorrow, praise, or deep need.
  • Healing & Cleansing: A release of stress hormones and an opening for God’s comfort and grace.
  • Spiritual Warfare/Intercession: Tears can break strongholds, water future joy, and bring breakthroughs.
  • Deep Connection: A sign of a broken heart responding to God’s love, or a deep, personal relationship.

Biblical & faith examples

  • Jesus: Wept in prayer, showing His humanity and qualifying Him to understand our suffering.
  • Hannah: Cried in despair over infertility, leading to her miracle child.
  • Leah: Cried for her future, and God heard her tears.
  • Jewish tradition: Believes “the Gates of Tears are always open,” even when words fail.

What to do when you cry in prayer

  • Don’t hold back: Allow the tears to flow as they are a gift and a powerful tool.
  • Embrace the feeling: Recognize it as a sacred moment, not weakness.
  • Receive comfort: Allow the shifting feeling from grief to relief as God’s presence pours in.
  • Know God keeps record: He hears and remembers every tear, waiting to answer.

That’s when we usually cry out with faith. Though people may respond but with limitations, the limitless God is the only hope!

“Our HIGH PRIEST is not one who cannot feel SYMPATHY for our WEAKNESSES… we have a High Priest who was tempted… but did not sin. Let us have CONFIDENCE, then, and approach GOD’S THRONE, where there is grace… to help us…”

Heb. 4:15-16

As a mortal man, our weakness never spare us from pain, sorrow and crying both from our sins and the world Jesus us but we have a friend indeed in Jesus Who sympathizesoʻpp with us, His power shows up at the prayer of confidence in Him!

The truth? God’s intervention in an issue may not stop it outright but rather gives the grace to endure and GROW with it into one’s BEST VERSION… so, stop PRAYING with complaints but with TRUST in Him!

Shalom!🙏🔥
