This is an easy question! Inactivity PERIOD
What excites me is a more appropriate question! My answer? JESUS!!! The Word of God came to Earth as Man! Yup, flesh, skin, and bones! For one reason! To live life as Man – God’s Creation! AND be murdered unjustly for doing absolutely NOTHING wrong!!!
He stood in place of Mankind! How can I be “bored”? I, by God’s beyond AWESOME grace grace share The Word daily… Studying, living, meditation on the Word leaves not much time for lollygagging!
When ‘idle’ I pray! So, in essence there is always something to fill my time…
A Christian fills their time by integrating faith into daily life, aiming to honor God in all activities rather than separating “sacred” and “secular” time. Core practices include daily prayer and scripture study, fellowship with other believers, serving others, and viewing work as an act of worship.
Key Aspects of a Christian’s Time Management:
- Daily Devotion: Starting the day with Bible reading and prayer helps center focus on God.
- Work as Worship: Performing jobs with integrity and excellence as a service to God, not just for income.
- Intentional Rest: Resting in Christ and rejuvenating through leisure that honors God, such as enjoying nature, reading, or building healthy relationships.
- Service and Fellowship: Volunteering, helping neighbors, and attending church gatherings to support the community.
- Mindful Moments: Using mundane tasks (like driving or chores) as opportunities for prayer and meditation.
- Redeeming the Time: Making intentional choices to avoid excessive, unproductive, or harmful media consumption, and instead investing time in things that have eternal value.
Ultimately, the goal is to live with an eternal perspective,, recognizing that daily life is an opportunity to grow in faith and serve God’s purpose.
