When Jesus hung out with sinners… they changed. He didn’t.
His holiness was not compromised by their brokenness. His purity was not diluted by their past. Instead of being influenced by darkness, He influenced it. Wherever Jesus went, transformation followed. Tax collectors became generous. The rejected felt restored. The guilty found forgiveness. He carried truth with grace and conviction with compassion. His presence did not blend in—it stood out. And because of that, lives were forever altered.
This is the power of Christ. He does not adjust to sin; He redeems sinners. He does not lower the standard; He lifts people up to it. When you stay close to Him, His character begins to shape yours. Light does not fear darkness—it overcomes it. Stay anchored in His truth and filled with His love.
“It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
