Living with, for, and through Christ is a transformative, purpose-driven life centered on surrendering personal ambitions to be guided by His Love and strength. It involves being “crucified with Christ” (Galatians 2:20), allowing Him to live within you, and acting as a steward of His grace by serving others with compassion.
- Living With Christ (Union): This refers to the spiritual reality of being united with Him, seated in heavenly places, and enjoying security in your identity as a redeemed child of God. It is a daily, relational walk that replaces self-absorption with a focus on His presence.
- Living For Christ (Purpose): Shifting from self-centeredness to Christ-centeredness, this means directing your life’s efforts, work, and goals toward His glory rather than personal comfort or recognition. It treats daily life as “fruitful labor” and worship.
- Living Through Christ (Empowerment): Recognizing that spiritual growth and service are impossible on your own, this involves relying on the Holy Spirit for strength to love, forgive, and obey. It is the understanding that “He, not I” animates the new life.
This, as seen in Philippians 3:13-14, is not a loss of self but the highest gain of purpose and lasting joy.
