God: The Source of MY Strength!!!

Psalm 18:32 states, “It is God Who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect” (NKJV). This verse highlights God as the source of personal strength and guidance, ensuring a secure or “blameless” path. It is part of David’s song of praise for victory over enemies.

Key Aspects and Translations

  • “Arms me with strength”: Many translations emphasize God equipping, girding, or wrapping the believer in power.
  • “Makes my way perfect”: Interpreted as God ensuring a secure path, removing obstacles, or making the journey blameless.
  • Context: This verse is located within a passage (Psalm 18:32-34) where David credits God with preparing him for battle and enabling him to overcome obstacles.

“The Lord is my fortress; His strength secures me.” Psalm 18:2 There are moments when faith feels strong and moments when it feels stretched thin. Life has a way of testing what we say we trust. Pressure shows up. Uncertainty knocks. And suddenly we realize how much we have been leaning on our own strength. Psalm 18 reminds us that faith is not about how tightly we hold on to GOD, it is about how securely GOD holds on to us. David does not say the Lord gives him a fortress. He says the Lord is his fortress. That means protection is not a place we run to, it is a Person we stand in. Faith that holds is not fragile faith. It is anchored faith. It stands when answers are delayed. It remains when outcomes are unclear. It stays rooted even when the ground feels unstable. Some mornings we wake up feeling strong. Other mornings we wake up simply determined to keep trusting. Both require faith. And both are sustained by the same truth, GOD is our strength. When we cannot secure ourselves, HE secures us. When we feel exposed, HE surrounds us. When our grip weakens, HIS does not. Today, do not measure your faith by how confident you feel. Measure it by where you are standing. If you are
