God Created ‘Time’. He owns it.

positioning God as existing outside the constraints of temporal progression (timeless). As the creator of spacetime, God oversees all history, with scripture indicating that He is not bound by human timelines (e.g., 2 Peter 3:8).

Key aspects of this belief include:

  • Transcendent Creator: Because time is a key component of the universe’s creation, God must exist outside of it to have created it.
  • Ownership and Control: God is viewed as the “sole owner” of time, managing its progression rather than being governed by it.
  • Divine Timing: In this framework, “our” time is actually His, requiring humanity to trust in His timing, a concept supported in.
  • Not Bound by Limits: While humans experience time sequentially, God is described as experiencing all time as an immediate, undivided present.
  • Biblical Evidence: Verses like Psalm 31:15 (“My times are in your hands”) and Ecclesiastes 3:11 (“He has made everything beautiful in its time”) are often cited as evidence that He holds time in His hands.

This perspective contrasts with the idea of time as a human construct, arguing that time is an intrinsic part of the created world and that God is the divine orchestrator of its flow.

In regards to Chronos time in our world such as the hours of the day, or timespace, man invented means to measure it.

Kairos (in the way I understand it and would like others to correct me if I’m wrong), is the time outside of our world. Where as we observe chronos to be sequential, kairos is the time that allows all to he happening at once. Which is why every time we celebrate the Eucharist the Last Supper occurs, whereas every time the Priest tells us to “Go and sin no more” it is Christ Himself doing so.
