Wherever you go…Allow Jesus shine through your!

“Go forth and spread My word” is fundamentally rooted in the Great Commission, where Jesus commanded his disciples to make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15). It is a call to share the Gospel of salvation—the message of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection—to everyone worldwide.

Key Aspects of Spreading the Gospel:

  • The Command (Mark 16:15): Jesus explicitly instructed his followers, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation”.
  • The Message: The core message is the “good news” that Jesus offers salvation, redemption, and eternal life.
  • The Scope: The mission is global (“all nations” or “all creation”), intending to reach every person regardless of culture or background.
  • Methodology: Believers are urged to share this message through word, actions, and daily life, including utilizing modern methods like social media, as described by 10 Ways to Spread the Gospel Across the World – Global Christian Relief.
  • Authority: The mandate is empowered by the Holy Spirit and sustained by the promise of Jesus’ presence until the end of the age.

THE TIMELESS MIRROR.

Reflection: Who we are and WHO we carry determines the atmosphere wherever we are.

Believers are called to shift the atmosphere of their surroundings by carrying the Presence of God (the Holy Spirit), rather than being victims of their environment. Our identity (who we are) and the Holy Spirit within us (who we carry) authorize us to release peace, joy, and divine order, transforming spaces like Jesus did.

Key Principles of Carrying Atmosphere:

  • The Spirit’s Authority: “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Corinthians 3:17).
  • Active Over Passive: Instead of reacting to, or matching the chaos of a room, believers are encouraged to act as “thermostats” that set the temperature, not thermometers that just reflect it.
  • Words and Faith: We create atmosphere through words of life, aligning our speech with God’s truth rather than immediate circumstances.
  • Maintaining Presence: Cultivating a personal connection with God ensures a righteous atmosphere (characterized by peace and joy) follows us into homes, workplaces, and communities.
  • Overcoming Negative Atmospheres: When encountering tension or oppression, believers have the authority to disrupt it and establish a godly atmosphere.

Essentially, we are not passive inhabitants of a space; we are carriers of Heaven’s atmosphere, authorized to change our environment through God’s Presence...

The bible quote above highlights something interesting about Jesus walking onto the stage of humanity. Clothed with humility, Love, Power, Peace, and virtue, He opened the door to the Throne of grace to us, the eternal exploits He performed confirmed His origin… a vital message for us to emulate!

The truth? Many coveted the spiritual authority and honor endowed upon the God-sent but they cannot abide in the Presence of God…

Acts 19:13-16. Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva tried to exorcise an evil spirit using Jesus’ Name, which they saw Paul using, but the evil spirit replied, “Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?”.

  • The Incident: The demon-possessed man leaped on them, overpowering all seven men.
  • The Outcome: The man attacked them with such violence that they fled the house naked and wounded.
  • Context: This event occurred in Ephesus, leading to great fear among the residents and enhancing the reputation of Jesus’ name.
  • Significance: This incident highlights that they lacked true spiritual authority. Many believers in Ephesus subsequently confessed their sins, resulting in a widespread burning of sorcery books.

The fruit that each of us bear, and the quality of our impact anywhere we are unveils Who is in charge of our lives… So, let us walk in the light as God-sent to dispel darkness everywhere!
