THE TIMELESS MIRROR.
SECULARISM, HUMANISM and LIBERALISM are three great dragons that are ravaging souls today through the leadership at various levels and units in our society/ the current day.
In biblical theology, particularly in the Book of Revelation, the “three dragons” or rather the “unholy trinity” (the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet) represent major spiritual and political forces in opposition to God. In a modern context, these are interpreted not as literal monsters, but as symbols of deceptive, chaotic, and totalitarian systems that mirror the original “serpent of old”.
Here is a breakdown of the three entities and their current-day applications based on biblical interpretation:
1. The Dragon (Satan/The Deceiver)
- Biblical Identity: Identified directly as Satan, the devil, and the “serpent of old” who deceives the world.
- Current-Day Interpretation: Represents the ultimate spiritual source of deception, chaos, and rebellion against God. Many interpret this as the driving force behind global ideologies that promote disorder, immorality, and anti-God sentiment.
- Role: He gives power to the beasts to influence the world.
2. The Beast from the Sea (The Political Power/Antichrist)
- Biblical Identity: A political or imperial power that receives authority from the dragon, often associated with a totalitarian empire or a future Antichrist figure.
- Current-Day Interpretation: Often viewed as world powers, nations, or global systems that act with violence, blasphemy, and oppression, similar to how ancient Rome or Egypt (also termed “dragons”) persecuted people of faith. This encompasses any secular or oppressive government demanding supreme allegiance.
- Role: Wages war on believers and dominates the world stage.
3. The Beast from the Earth/False Prophet (The Ideological Power)
- Biblical Identity: A force that makes the earth worship the first beast, functioning as a deceptive religious or intellectual voice (the “false prophet”).
- Current-Day Interpretation: Interpreted as false ideologies, mainstream media, propaganda, or deceptive religious movements that support totalitarianism and direct people away from God toward the idolatry of power or the self.
- Role: Uses propaganda and wonders to deceive people into supporting the oppressive system.
Summary of Modern Application
In the present day, these three entities are seen as interconnected systems that encourage:
- Spiritual Darkness: A collective threat aiming to drag society into chaos.
- Deceptive Systems: Ideologies and influences that lead people away from biblical truths.
- Oppressive Power: Violent or controlling political forces that persecute faith.
These figures (the dragon, beast, and false prophet) are described as working together to align the world against God until they are ultimately defeated.
The context of this bible quote has shed light to the core issue- an agelong WAR that began in heaven between the LIGHT and DARKNESS. What a deceit the devil had put in our LEADERS as POLITICAL AGENDA to forbid BIBLES READING in PUBLIC SCHOOLS. Notably, the same BIBLE has rehabilitated countless PRISONERS spiritually!
Reflection: Education can’t substituted for SALVATION as the solution for this endtime craziness.
The truth? We can CHOOSE whether to remain in SPIRITUAL PRISON of the devil or be FREE for LIFE… So, let’s step up our intercession and personal evangelism at every opportunity!
