Commit ALL your ways to the Creator of ALL things awesome to see them flourish…

THE TIMELESS MIRROR.

📌Perhaps this image resonated with all of us differently… but WHY the experience?

“DELIGHT yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. COMMIT your way to the Lord, TRUST also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.”-

The skill? The budget? The strategy? We’ve got it it all; yet sometimes, all effort to execute plans are still wobbly. Something is missing… Is it human resources? No!

Very often, we trust God and share our desires with Him, but without truly delighting in Him! We won’t ever take His counsel if it contradicted ours!

Notably, the vertical must cross our horizontal to secure divine backing! Where do you place God in your plans?

Reflection: Planning behind God with what He provided is a show of disrespect!

Giving thanks in all circumstances is a powerful perspective. Rooted in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, this practice means finding reasons to be grateful in the midst of every situation, recognizing God’s enduring goodness and presence even when life gets difficult.

Here are a few ways to reflect on and cultivate a heart of gratitude:

  • Focus on His Character: Thank God for His constant love, mercy, and grace, which never change despite your current circumstances.
  • Shift Your Perspective: Instead of focusing entirely on a struggle, look for the quiet blessings and lessons hidden within.
  • Prayer and Peace: Use moments of thanksgiving to bring your worries to God, inviting His peace to guard your heart.

Embracing this mindset acknowledges that even in the hard times, God is walking alongside you.

The truth? Godliness in our planning reflects Jesuscross and His Life.

“Early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left [the house], and went out to a secluded place, and was praying there.”

Mark 1:35

Jesus knows everything, as The Word of God; He Created all things. Yet, He always sought God’s input!

Jesus—despite being omniscient and the Creator—continually sought the Father’s input and will highlights the beautiful, dynamic relationship within the Trinity.

Here is how theologians and scholars generally break down this dynamic:

  • The Model of Perfect Submission: Even though Jesus is equal with the Father in nature and power (Philippians 2:6), He willingly submitted to the Father’s plan. By seeking input, Jesus provided the ultimate model of humility and obedience for humanity, demonstrating how a creature should align with the Creator.
  • The Incarnation: In becoming human, Jesus voluntarily laid aside the independent use of His divine attributes. As the Apostle Paul writes in Philippians 2:7, He “emptied himself” (or kenosis). Therefore, as a man, He relied entirely on the Holy Spirit and communion with the Father to accomplish His earthly ministry.
  • Relational Harmony: The constant communication between Jesus and the Father emphasizes that the Trinity is bound by eternal, loving relationship. His prayers and requests were not out of a lack of knowledge, but out of perfect, unbroken fellowship.

Such tasks bring Him glory and establish us but the reverse is the case when things are done outside God’s will, visions and prayers are messed up… Let’s learn from this!

It is well. 🙏🔥
