Walking, a testimony!

Hit 5,000 steps today and drop your achievement here — we’re cheering you on!

5,000 steps is roughly 2 to 2.5 miles (about 3.2 to 4 kilometers).

  • Time: It typically takes 35 to 45 minutes to walk at a moderate pace.
  • Calories: Depending on your weight and speed, it burns about 150 to 250 calories.

Distance can vary slightly based on your height and stride length. You can calculate exactly how these steps translate to your personal stride using the Omni Steps to Miles Calculator or the Steps App Distance Calculator.

Being discharged from the rehabilitation hospital I was transferred to, I was discharged in/with a wheelchair. I was led as I have shared to be ambulatory; we have already shared my refusal to accept the disability. To God be ALL the glory.

I give credit to my Dad for walking with me, encouraging me to walk and inviting me to go on evening walks with him! I shared years ago at his reaction of emotion and joy when I walked around the park without stopping!

To receive inspiration ✨️ pray unceasingly!
